Our attention to detail and thoroughness is second to none. Requirements are taken through either telephone conversations or preferably through direct meetings.

When resourcing either a Permanent or Contract position for your organisation we are in effect marketing the company and the benefits of working there. We can only do this effectively and efficiently if we have gained sufficient knowledge of the working environment.

This does not just mean the technical skills used, as experience has taught us that two people with the same technical skills may not be suited to the same job in the same company. It also means looking at the culture of the company, the content of the work, and if it is a permanent vacancy, the pathway for career progression and the overall benefits of working for your organisation.

Once we have established this information, we can then begin to source suitable candidates.

How do we source our candidates?
The best source of quality candidates comes from referrals.

These can come from either existing known applicants or under certain circumstances from our existing clients.

As with most agencies we have a comprehensive applicant database which is constantly updated to ensure we know which candidates are available in which technical field.

We also advertise nationally across both trade press publications and specialist IT recruitment internet sites. In short we explore every avenue in order to source applicants of the highest calibre.

How do we match a candidate to a vacancy?
Each applicant will be interviewed prior to submitting his or her CV for a vacancy. This interview will either take place by telephone or where possible and practical, in person.

Also, we will never submit a CV for a vacancy without the applicant's knowledge and understanding of the company and vacancy that he or she is being submitted for.

We will, where possible, take one or two thorough references from an applicant's current and/or previous employer. Obviously, dependent on the applicant's circumstances, this is not always possible. Where this is possible a copy of the references will be provided with the CV.

It is only when we are completely satisfied with an applicants overall suitability to a company and a vacancy that we will submit his or her CV. A summary will be provided with every CV submitted containing relevant information about the candidate, including key technical skills, salary details, location information, availability and consultant's comments.

One of the biggest complaints received by IT recruitment companies from their clients is the receipt of a particular CV more than once, from different agencies, for the same vacancy. We fully inform every candidate which company and vacancy he or she is being submitted for, to help eliminate this problem.

Punching well above its weight and defying all talks of recession, Logix IT has remained stable and is in yet another period of growth.

Logix IT now require Trainee Resourcers / Researchers to support the existing successful Senior Consultants in qualifying and matching candidates to vacancies whilst learning every step of the recruitment process.

At the end of the training process (typically 1 year) these opportunities offer the chance to become fully fledged Recruitment Consultants for the hungry and able. Previous experience of recruitment or sales is not necessary although 6-12 months experience will also be considered for these roles.
